What information does Trackhab collect?
Using our services, device owners gain access to information on the use and operation of assets, such as vehicles to enhance the driving experience and improve vehicle performance.

Our services (“Services”) are enabled by a hardware device which plugs into, connects with or works with your asset (the “Hardware”), and our website. Using the Hardware, and our website, you provide us with and we collect the following types of data (“Personal Data”):

• Information from your vehicle’s onboard computer;
• Information about a device’s operation;
• Vehicle location information;
• Generator engine information;
• Location and speed information;
• Personally identifiable information; and
• Information collected when you visit our website.

If you provide us with Personal Data from a location outside the Republic of Ghana or the United Kingdom, please be aware that the data is transferred from your location to our data centers located in the Republic of Ghana or the United Kingdom, where we and our service providers are located.

Information from your vehicle’s onboard computer.
To enable our Services, we collect and store information about the vehicle into which you plug the Trackhab OBDII device. Examples of the type of information we collect from the vehicle’s onboard computer and sensors include: data from the mass air flow sensor, which helps us to calculate fuel efficiency; and diagnostic trouble codes, which help explain why the vehicle’s check engine light came on.

Information about your vehicle’s operation.
We collect information about your vehicle’s operation to provide you with feedback on your driving habits. For example, we collect data on movements, hard acceleration, and speed. Using this information, we provide you with insight into your car’s location, your speed and your speeding patterns. We require your vehicle identification number so that we can provide you with more precise feedback based on your specific vehicle submodel.

Vehicle location information.
We collect information on the location of your vehicle, including your trip route and the stop locations of your vehicle. Trip routes allow you to review a particular route that you’ve driven and the fuel usage associated.

Personally identifiable information.
Examples of personally identifiable information we collect include your name, email address, and mobile telephone number.

You may optionally add other contact details we will notify in event you choose.

Information we collect when you visit our website.
On our website, we use a technology called “cookies.” A cookie is a piece of information that the computer that hosts our site gives to your browser when you access our site. As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, Personal Data may be part of the transferred assets; in this event, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership, as well as any choices you may have regarding your Personal Data.

In these circumstances, we will not share your Personal Data without your explicit permission, usually in the form of a web page, email or app screen where you authorize such sharing of information.

We want you to get the most value out of your Trackhab experience and may present offers from trusted partners to provide a solution that we think would make your asset ownership or usage experience better. For example, we might partner with an engine oil filter manufacturer that is willing to provide a sale discount if you choose to share your data related to your engine performance. These opportunities will always be user “opt-in” only.
